The problem
A production database server was approaching a critical failure point. Its SSL security certificate was expiring, which, if left unaddressed, would break encrypted connections, trigger security warnings for users, and risk taking the application offline entirely. The client had no visibility into this on their own.
What we did
Our monitoring flagged the expiring certificate before it caused any disruption. We notified the client, coordinated the remediation around their team’s schedule, and renewed the certificate during a planned window. The fix was confirmed and the event was documented for their records.
The outcome
There was no service interruption and no user impact. The client learned about the issue and its resolution in the same conversation. That is what proactive IT management looks like: problems handled before anyone feels them.
Why it matters
The most expensive IT problems are the ones nobody saw coming. We make sure you see them coming.
